Voodoo ('The Pirate')

This is the song “Voodoo”, an outtake from The Pirate. Partly sung by Judy Garland, it was cut out from the final release. There’s no video from this scene but we can still try to imagine it by listening to the unreleased song.

Who would you say Gene had the most chemistry with out of all his leading ladies? Has Gene ever said who his favorite partner is?

Well. I guess anyone who’s seen all of Gene Kelly’s movies will agree that Judy Garland had the most amazing and perfect chemistry with Gene. Because that’s true, she really was special. And perhaps Gene didn’t say it in so many words but Judy was probably his favorite partner too. They shared such a beautiful friendship.
